Accredited Courses
We are proud to deliver the Open College Network Level 1 Award in Creating Change: Introduction to Industrial Sewing Machine Operations.
This 15-week accredited programme provides hands-on training in industrial sewing, including flatbed lockstitch and overlock machine operations, alongside essential health and safety knowledge. Participants gain practical experience, create finished projects, and achieve a recognised qualification.
Designed for people who may face barriers to traditional education, the course builds skills, confidence, wellbeing, and employability. Graduates can progress into work experience, volunteering, peer support roles, and micro-enterprise opportunities through our local partnerships and textile reuse projects.
Creative Wellbeing Workshops
Our Creative Wellbeing Workshops use sewing and making to improve confidence, wellbeing, and social connection. In a relaxed and supportive environment, participants learn new skills, explore their creativity, and experience the satisfaction of creating something they can be proud of.
Designed for people facing challenges such as isolation, recovery, or unemployment, our workshops help build confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose—one stitch at a time.
